Activities 2007

In 2007 Douglas gave a series of motivational talks on behalf of Sanofi-Aventis to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabates.org) Expos at Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Portland, San Antonio and Seattle, and also to Taking Control of Your Diabetes (www.tcoyd.com) Conferences and Health Fairs in Hawaii, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

During the year, he chalked up 240 hours of flying in the Baron (see the Youtube.com links on home page), and in July gained his National Private Pilot's Licence (NPPL) in the UK which allows single-engine flying (daylight VFR only) with type 1 diabetes.
